A lot of parents I work with have shared that they don’t have ADHD and don’t understand it. They ask, “Why can’t my child just do their homework?” I totally get it. If you don’t have the same ADHD brain as your child, it’s hard to understand how they work. As a person and mom with ADHD, I’m happy to share some tips I’ve learned through my experiences to help you thrive as a parent raising a child with ADHD.

I have a love-hate relationship with social media. I love connecting with my audience and sharing my life in hopes of inspiring and helping other people with parenting and ADHD. But… I hate that I often compare myself to influencers who have a seemingly perfect life. I never want to show up on social media with a highlight reel. You get my good, bad, and ugly.

I’ve been unplugging from social media more often lately for my mental health. After baby #2, I decided I needed to be present for my child, and I unplugged for about three weeks. It was so great to spend undistracted time with my new baby and my 2-year-old. I didn’t feel the pressure I often do to post something on Instagram and it was amazing.

After listening to this episode, I hope you feel inspired to take some time off social media. It has so many benefits to your mental health and can help reduce ADHD symptoms.

This episode is for the parents! As a mom of two under two, I understand the need to have healthy snacks on hand that are easy to eat on the go. I don’t have time to whip up a healthy snack before driving to daycare. Since I have ADHD, I get way too distracted to quickly make a snack before I leave the house. I need something prepped to grab and eat while I’m driving.

Even the parents that don’t have ADHD, I’m sure you can relate! We parents are busy bees! So, let’s talk about some healthy snacks for ADHD adults that you can take on the go.

One of the places in my home that can get cluttered the quickest is my kitchen. Whether it’s food, dishes, cooking appliances, or utensils, I always seem to collect more stuff than I need. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen meal prepping, so it’s easy for me to get distracted by the clutter. I need a clean kitchen!
